Epson introduces digital M

As much as I love my Leicas, I did go with DSLR's for most of my wedding work. D100's and D2h's, soon to have a D2x. I do like the Epson, but not the price for 6mp. The D2x is getting great reviews, if you are a Canon user the 20D and 1D Mk II are excellent performers.

IMHO, Nikon has the iTTL flash system down better than others, which flash is a must sometimes.

Downside is if you are used to RF's, these DSLR's get heavy. I'm starting to be able to keep lenses to a minimum, just using the 17-55/2.8, 85/1.8, and 80-200/2.8.

Vishal, Thanks for sharing your pics. For wedding, I started to use my first dSLR Contax ND (see attached s&le I shoot at the SF bridal show last month.) Now, I have been using Canon dSLRs (20D, 1d II) with Quantum T4D + a custom bracket. Sometime I use the Canon 580EX flash. The TTL II on Canon is right on, no more guessing although I set my camera in manual mode for all flash shots and set the flash itself in TTL. I am waiting to see if the Leica would be a great choice for the digital domain.

The Nikon D2X would be a great dSLR.

Nice photograph, do you have a site? I think Leica is a good digital camera, mainly for the lenses and the fact that you don't have to carry a massive camera around!

I think the quality is good too - yeah it doesn't beat film (yet) but who really cares? I certainly love film for my own work but digital allows a quick turnabout with little outlay cost.

What do you think of these? http://vphotographic.fotopic.net/c466975.html
Again, no post production, the prints I have made are good and I can go up to 10x8 with no problems at all. Even larger if I wish.

Vishal, you have very lovely cats. Perhaps I should post my dogs pics. I took down my site right now because I want to re-build it with fancy Flash interface.

I am interested the RD-1 because I can hang it around my neck easily as a 2nd or 3rd body. 6 meg resolution is good enough for me as I can always rev it up. However, I am hoping a newer version with full frame or 1.1X FOV in that price range in the near future.
