Finally got a squirrel to pause

Yes Jim, my home and ranch is referred to as the Waelder Zoo consisting of:
16 Tammar Wallabies
9 Horses
2 Miniature Horses
2 Donkeys
6 Parrots
2 Manga Double Yellow Head Amazons
4 Quaker or Monk Parakeets
3 Ball Pythons
2 Leopard Geckos
2 Doves
1 Albino King Snake
1 Albino Burmese Python
1 Dog
1 Squirrel
and my house has a 400 gallon / 1500 liter pond in the living room with an assortment of fish and a Crayfish who hides among the rocks

Three things for sure:

- Boredom impossible within such a biosphere
- Plenty of photo-scenery
- Your pond is bigger than my house :D:D:D

See you with nice pictures

Klaus

I am now tempted to "loan" you my 10 - 20mm lens so that we can see the whole room. Only one problem, I come attached to said lens. ;)

Sincere regards, JR

Sorry for only having a 28mm f1.8 DG EX Macro at the moment. I'm still trying to pick out what other lenses to get. I'm thinking either the 18-50mm or 18-125 would be a good general purpose zoom.

I'll be posting more photos.

Other Lens...

Steaphany,

I would actually tell you to go with a 18-200mm lens...or the 80-400mm lens or 50-500mm lens...for a good all around combo....

For Sigma I use...20-40mm F2.8 and the 80-400mm Lens...very good all around and able to get alot of shots...I have since converted my SD14 to Nikon F...so I have a larger range of lenses...but still love my two Sigma SA lenses.....

by the way the 28mm F1.8 is an awsome lens..so don't applogize for it...LOL

Nice livingroom...

Very nice indeed, Steaphaney. I can just imagine sitting back relaxing with that water splashing in the background and then there are the visual delights as well. Bargain! :)

Sincere regards, Jim R

House Sitting...

Steaphany,

If you ever find the need for a house sitter....let me know...JK :z04_cowboy:

That looks wonderful...I can imagine just sitting on the stairs..looking down and watching the fish...(Then watching my cat jump in....) That would make some awsome pictures....

Nice shots...I like the one with all the fish in it....
