Hello from Toronto

Grateful this exists!

I've been an occasional participant on the DPReview forums. I first started to get a (modest) feel for photography when given a well-loved Nikon FE in the mid-90s. Over the last decade or so, though, I've primarily used higher-end compacts because of their portability. So for it's been the Canon PowerShot A720, S95 and g9x II, and most recently, I've been enjoying a Sony Cybershot RX100 IV. At first, I didn't care for the menu system, but having gotten a feel for it, I think I may now prefer it over the others.

Welcome to the Forum! I'm sure you'll like it here.

I like the Sony RX100 cameras a lot, too. I got the original first generation RX when they were first released, but ended up giving it to my brother. Ever since I've wanted another RX100, but a more recent iteration. I can't justify the high cost of ownership, however, especially when I already have over a dozen Nikon 1 cameras. :p
