Hello from Wales

ive been a member for a while but never got round to posting an intro.

Home is Wales although business means I spend half my time over in Boston.

Photography involves either Nikon d3x and usually 14-24 or, for serious stuff, Linhof 617 which I love. My other half is a ski instructor so whilst she is skiing in the Alps, I try and capture landscapes in the mountains.

Now this is a tough choice. I love skiing. I do not know whether I would take the photos then... :z04_xmas_wave:

I'm not a skier. Brittle bones and poor balance are not great qualifications for skiing. My wife specialises in helping disabled people learn to ski.

I enjoy the photo opportunities which exist in the Austrian Tirol (her normal all year training base) and the Colorado Rockies. Fascinating in Colorado capturing the abandoned high altitude mining towns such as Waldorf.
