Real name is Alexander but someone gave me the nickname DrLex in high school and it has forever stuck. I'm from somewhere around the center of Belgium, Europe.
I registered on DPR in 2009 when I was researching a worthy replacement for my water-damaged Canon Ixus-i. After another compact (DMC-FX37), I got sucked into M43 with the DMC-GX1. After that, I only sporadically visited DPReview, but rediscovered it while looking for a successor for my GX1. I found the challenges and started participating. This didn't take long however, thank you Amazon—not. I hope some sort of reincarnation of the challenges will emerge!
