Another DPR refugee. Mainly active on the Pentax SLR talk forum there, hoping to find old friends on the equivalent here.

And before I forget, a huge round of applause is due to those tying to create this site from the ashes of that one.
 
Back in the eighties I had a friend that used a Pentax SLR with a Carl Zeiss lens, manual focus, I had a Canon SLR (EOS 600) with autofocus. I thought at the time my camera was better, egg on my face, her pictures were far superior. Still, I stayed with Canon. lol
