The flowers get a different color depending on the acidity of the soil. These are all photos from the same single plant, it seems it's sitting right in a place where the acidity levels are on the threshold between the flowers becoming either blue or pink.

I also have a confession to make: practically all photos I have posted here until now were modified OOC JPEGs, because none of the programs I was using supported the ORF format from the OM-5. Now I have a development build of RawTherapee that supports it, so these are a few of my first processed RAWs. It does feel a bit like the training wheels have just been removed, but I think I already managed to beat the camera's JPEG engine here.

We have an annual Flower Show in our city every year. One of the most popular shooting event for every local photographers.

Every year there is a theme flower for the show, Hortensia was the main theme this year.
