KEH reasonable for selling off F-mount equipment?

I have used KEH and MPB in trading my lenses for an upgrade and both outfits are good. It seems that MPB has lower prices on their excellant and LN- equipment. I know your selling to them and getting wholesale prices which are usually around 50% of the used retail price, but much less hassle than using Craigs List. I checked my lens inventory and 95% of my lenses are used. Due to the people who have to have the newest equipment, then sell quickly leave a lot of wonderful equipment in beautiful condition for us penny pinchers.

I've had experience with both MPB and KEH. The quotes from MPB have always seemed fair while those from KEH have been ridiculously low. The best place by far I've found for selling used gear is the Fred Miranda Forum, but you need to establish yourself there. Members don't take kindly to someone registering then with only two or three posts trying to sell equipment.

Leading up to a difference of (many) hundreds of Dollars (or Euro's) I'll take 'the hassle' over selling it to whichever store at any time.

I usually sell my stuff on eBay, but they've raised their fees and it's kind of getting ridiculous. I live near Raleigh NC, which has two good independent camera stores, and I've bought and sold from both of them. The last time (I think it was d7000 stuff) they basically looked up current prices on eBay, subtracted fees, and gave me that for them, which I thought was very fair and certainly less trouble than selling them myself. For an old Pentax K1000 they were good enough to evaluate it, tell me that the shutter was a bit slow, and made me an offer that I turned down. I sold the camera and kit lenses for a bit more on eBay. Granted, it wasn't a lot of money compared to a nice Nikon full frame prime, but I surely wasn't going to use the camera any more and so it was all good.
