The Contax Zeiss 50/1.7 is really a good lens. I still have one with a Yashica Super 2000

Great little lens indeed. Some say it's the sharpest 50mm. Perhaps not but it is bitingly sharp. Here is mine in an artsy attempt (same lens twice...) to show it off.
