M11 Monochrome

I don’t see any news on Leica websites but my Leica Fotos app has just updated with the note “ support for the new M11 Monochrome “

Someone send it to me so I can put it through the paces ;)

Hopefully Mrs. MEDISN didn't see the announcement. She was already toying with the idea of the M10M.

Are you saying that your FOTOS wasn't working prior to your update?
No not at all. I was saying that the FOTOS app was updated to add support for M11 Monochrome quite a few hours before Leica announced the new camera was launched. I’m sure that wasn’t meant to happen

I think it will be amazing for low light shots but I can’t ( thankfully) consider a monochrome only camera. I am though seriously considering a M11 to add to my Q2

Yes, but as they say in the video, you really have to pay attention to the highlights. It is out of my price range anyway, so this makes my decision easy :)

A second hand Q2 would be very interesting. But I also have 2 Ricoh GR3 (GR3 and GR3x). It is difficult to spend so much money for the rather small difference in image quality. And the Q2 is not as small as the GRs.

That's the beauty of the Q2 - you get the wide angle 28mm look of the GR3 and the 40mm look of the GR3x in one camera!

I thought the same. Only 2 things hold me back atm. The price and the size. :cautious:
