Need help buying Canon 20D what lenses

Hey - I am also looking at the canon 20D and I am very confused about lenses... from what I can tell, the lens that comes with the camera is crap. Is that correct? Should I try to buy the camera body by itself and then purchase a few lenses??? What lenses would you recommend for a limited budget if I do mostly portrait work (subjects at like 3-10 feet from me) and I do nature (insects, plants, flowers...macro) I also like landscapes and just your average out door snap shots... would like a "fast" lens for indoor work without strobe/studio lighting....
any recommendations are much appreciated

Buy the body, 24-70x1.6(sensor size)=38-112 2.8L and 50x1.6=80 2.8 Macro and all your wishes will come true!!
