New Project 52 for 2024

To take John's remark into account, here are two selfies taken with a D850 equipped with a 20mm, on the same stretch of the Atlantic coast. :cool:

Well, well, well.. I do see an IQ improvement! :) Beautiful weather you are having there on the coast of France.
 
51/52: I am a b it short on material, so this it. DOF is shallow since the lens was very close to the circuit board (from an old television that no longer functions). There are some other parts/pieces that are also interesting (i.e., thin/flat ribbon cables that feed the LCD panel). I will try to find a more festive subject for next week!

This is the last photo in my 2024 52 project, which falls on Christmas Day. For me, this cross above the apse of Notre-Dame de Paris evokes a double resurrection. That of the man crucified for his message, and that of a cathedral that almost disappeared due to the negligence of those who were supposed to protect it. Standing 13 metres high and weighing two tonnes, this cross is the only vestige of the old roof to have been restored after the fire.

THANKS for the wonderful Project 52 journey. I truly appreciate the original invitation... 52 weeks ago. It has been GREAT! Here is what I have... a cellphone shot from this past Monday 23 December (Samsung A52). I believe there are options for more/higher resolution, but it seems whenever I set things up... they end-up changing for some reason (because of my fat fingers and lack of awareness). The phone is so sensitive! I prefer shooting with a real camera... and I wish (WISH) I'd had a "real" camera with me on Monday! I'm just thinking of the hi-rez panorama that I didn't get. Oh well. The snow conditions were EXCELLENT and it was a memorable day of skiing at Crystal Mountain (WA).

Upon closer inspection... I did indeed have a "real camera" picture to contribute... from last Friday 20 December (so it qualifies for this week). It seems so long ago... that I had forgotten about it. That is life these days. Time seems to move very quickly.

Another superbe picture taken with this 20mm you made me discover. How about getting rid of the half bike to the right?
