Ordering things online .....

I buy quite a lot of my photographic goods online. Recently I've been having troubles with some of those shops websites. Sometimes some of the buttons don't work. Also if I look at the websites with different browsers they look different even showing different content. Perhaps it's just me?

I've just realised what is causing the problem ..... ADBLOCKERS !! They don't just turn off ads!! So now I turn the adblocker off for dealers websites and also for forums, like this one, if they ask me nicely :)

Regarding online shops. Depending on which PC you are and from which location and at which time you visit their sites, they will show you different prices. Amazon is VERY sophisticated in segmenting the audience by day and time with different prices for the same products.

I travel sometimes for business within Europe. I often bookmark products to make a decison later on. Some online shops show me for bookmarked products diffrent prices depending on from which country I am logged in! You can test that if you use a VPN service like i.e. mullvad. If you go to that site with a normal internet connection, they show you price "x". If you use Mullvad and in the settings of Mullvad you choose a different country as original of your IP Address 10 seconds later, you get price "y" in your bookmarked products.
