Pentax K-1 Mark II / Sigma 35/1.4 Art / Wide open aperture (1.4-1.6)

I've had almost the entire Pentax line of cameras except the K-3 Mark III - K-10 / K-20 / K-5 / K-5II / K-3 / K-3II , but the FF Pentax is a transition to a whole other level of shooting.
Like you I've had a long list of bodies starting out with the K110D, well if you discount my K1000 in my analog days. I followed with the K00D-Super, K20D, K-5, K-5 IIs, K-70 and now the KP. There was something in the form factor of especially the K20D I liked very much but the KP is definitely a charm. I might just have to get a used K-1 body to get the FF experience with my Irix 30mm/f1.4 or my Sigma 85mm/f1.4

Prices are not really coming down which shows what a gem the K-1 really is and I've hesitated for many years. The KP is extremely capable for the time being and the K-1 would just be for fun and to see what it could do. You make a powerful case for the K-1!

Irix 30mm/f1.4 or my Sigma 85mm/f1.4
I have an FF Irix 15/2.4 - pretty decent optics. Too bad it doesn't have autofocus.
The only thing is that I always start to smile when I read "nano-coating" in the specs and I wonder if they are going to develop a "neutrino coating" in some future version of their lenses :)

I have the Sigma 14-24/2.8 Art wide angle lenens for the SD Quattro H and it is clearly better. It is a shame that Sigma no longer supports the Pentax mount. The last lens from Sigma for Pentax was this Sigma 35/1.4 Art
