Thank you Smaug. It was in News and Rumors Talk. The thread is entitled 'San Mateo man robbed of camera and gear'. The post immediately above mine, with whom I was in agreement is deleted too. So the last remaining post in that thread is the one with which both if us disagreed and rebutted. The two of us who disagreed with that post were deleted. Tnx again.

I read the entire thread over at the other site. As you stated above regarding cogency and standards, we could see that it was absent in the referred to post, which was tedious enough to read, if not downright painful. I'm not surprised in the least though understanding for years what has been happening in California. As I am sure you are aware of, if any opinion, no matter how correct factually, rationally thought out and sound, and/or eminently fair, doesn't conform to the prevailing beliefs of the day it will most likely be quickly disqualified from public discussion or debate.
