A spooky Halloween image.

UV Induced Visible Fluorescence image. 365nm UV light causes objects to give off visible light. Stock Pentaz 645Z, Pentax 645 120mm macro, Tiffen Haze/UV 2E to block almost all UV, 2 Adaptalux Pod Mini with UV arms. ISO 400 at F8 and 237 seconds.
A very long exposure that would probably never work outside. I will try raising the ISO on future shots.

I walked out and sat on the concrete lane divider with the tripod. With 8 second exposures I had to take a lot of frames to get one without vehicles and no image blur. Even though it is a 4 lane bridge it really bounces when semi trucks wiz by. Arsat 30 fisheye on Pentax 645Z . ISO 100, F8 and 8 seconds.
Thanks for looking,

A work of beauty , art and unique and unusual colour photography. Blue bokeh of plant life is completely new to me I believe. Impressive photography. Hope to see this in a challenge on that other forum.

I love gravel pits . Especially on a weekend . If you are looking for peace and silence , then you will feel comortable in a gravel pit .
You will hear things , you have not heared since long .

Both shots with HB CFV backs .

Nice. They have a very 3 dimensional look to them. The soft clouds counterbalance the sharp gravel nicely. I live near a privately owned gravel pit. Don't think they would allow tromping around inside.
