Sony 20-70mm F4 - A few testshots

The 20-70 is not on PhotoLab's supported lenses list.

P.S.: If I quote a post why is my post blocked as spam ?!?

Maybe I'm wrong... 2023-04-09_20-23-47.jpg

Photolab 5 and 6 both support the Sony 20-70 as of a couple of days ago. While Adobe does not yet support the 20-70, a Dpreview participant posted a very good profile that ca be used with Camera Raw.

The SEL FE 20-70mm G corrections are available in PS . I don't know since when , but that does not really matter .
This lens is on the top position of my lens shopping list . It's available in Germany with a cashback of 100€ .

My FE 20-70mm G has arrived . I am very happy .
A first , very short test shows , the lens is tack sharp at f8 for all focal length . The lens is beautifully made and the first impression is just : perfect .
More testing will follow on the weekend .

I like to set me a photographic topic and work for it for quite some time .
This was industrial architecture and gravel pits with their machinery , in the past , and I still love it .
But I thought its time for a change and I found more or less just by luck , the topic of ancient graveyards and old gravestones .
Has anybody here ever worked on this or a similar topic ? ? ? Any ideas for this topic are wellcome .

I have decided to use my SONY @7II camera + the new zoom FE 20-70 4 G for it and am pleased so far with the results .

Let me start with an image taken at an old graveyard , which was used from about 1550 up to 1920 . Here you will find mostly family graves of rich people of the town of MEMMINGEN .
South Germany . The grave yard is not used any more but it is a wonderful , very peaceful little park . Many tombs are still very well preserved .
Image was taken just 10 minutes before a thunderstorm came up .
