today we have several news for you.
First, we did change a little bit our appearance. It is still the same template, but we changed the images for the header. With this, it is easier to see for new visitors, that we are a photocommunity. And yes, you can get dirty if you want to get THAT image
Second, we collected all your feedback in our survey regarding new brand-limited communities. The feedback was positive. Therefore we decided to go the next step and launch them parallel to Camera-info.com. Thanks to this, you have both alternatives now available and can choose yourself depending on your current needs. Either a community for all brands toghether like at Camera-info.com or a community forum for your brand only. No other brand involved. Whatever you like.
Both options use the same forum software. So you do not have to get used to a new software, which is a big advantage.
You will find the links to each of this brand forum always at the buttom of CI and of each community forum. The "system" of the domainname is always the same.
Brandname + community + com
i.e. Nikoncommunity.com for Nikon and Canoncommunity.com for Canon
For Fuji we decided on Fujicommunity.com and for Sony on SonyAlphacommunity.com, to differentiate if from other Sony products.
For Panasonic and Olympus your feedback was that you would like to have both together in one "MicroFourThird" community. But that name is just too long. So we decided on MFTcommunity.com.
Third we will start soon with interviews. So stay tuned on all our channels. You do not want to miss this.
So go ahead and register to the new brand-communities, if this is your preferences and have fun!
