Yep, me too!
My god, I remember the included glue had some insane melt power.
And I vaguely recall the paint we had was made by Umbro. I had loads of little glass bottles of different colours.
 
You're right. And I doubt myself they were in bottles now, they must have been in little tin pots.
I am obviously affected by the glue :ROFLMAO:

Here’s one from the era before WWI… a Bleriot monoplane, and still flying

The tall glass jars were Airfix own brand paints I think. Looks like now superseded http://www.airfixrailways.co.uk/Paint.htm
