The pickings were slim at my usual birding spot; I only came away with a cormorant and an osprey prowling a salt-water marsh. Thanks!

I like the most wide angle feel to the cormorant picture. What focal length was used?
Could you lift the shadows on the bird's body a bit and maybe crop a bit of the left to make look less lie the bird is flying towards the right edge of the frame?

It did look a little wide, but it actually was a 150-600 (at 600). You're right, I probably should have cropped a little differently - thanks!
