One would hope not, but then we may have parts who might think otherwise.

For me, a camera is a tool, at one time in my life it paid some bills, not it is for fun, in the future who know. Leica Camera makes tools that for me blend into my hand, become part of me. I forget what I need to fiddle with and just do. This is the best kind of tool, one that lets you concentrate on task at hand and forget it is there.

I would go for the adaptation and enjoy. The M5’s shutter speed dial was something that I wish Leica would bring back, for me it was perfect. Everyone has their own thing we should celebrate our differences, it is the best way to learn and grow from each other.

Please let us know how you make out and who does the enhancements.

Hi Bill,
Sherry is in the process of doing the upgrade on a body recently purchased from KEH(along with a CLA). When I receive it, I'll sent the other. I can't live without at least one. You know how love is. I will then sell my M6s, keeping the M3 as a attachment to the past. Sherry took it and made close to brand new(as I remember "brand new" 49 years ago).
Question: Why are only Doctors having their messages deleted?

I understand now why the purists don't like the M6TTL. I couldn't get more than a half dozen rose stems to fit in the back, and then had to really force it to get it to latch... Had to cut the stems pretty short so the camera would stand up with the roses in it...Darn thing kept falling of the mantle...sheesh...

Jeff, I think you will find that, that little gem of a comment is all Justin Scott's. but I'm more than happy to have it credited to me.

The credit should go to Craig for the idea, however I suggest you are using your M6TTL incorrectly as a vase. Remove the lens, fill with water and use a spead of small flat flowers. Rose stems will scratch the camera and thereby reduce its value.

Please post a picture of you M6TTL vase.

THANKS for the input.. this group is so terrific. I was just using the the film rewind lever to snap the rose thorns off, but your idea is BRILLIANT...

I'll snap a picture of my new "M6 Vase" as soon as the h&ster wakes up. His little bed got all pee soaked and the only thing I had the same size was my Contax N1 body.

Best looking M6 classic I've seen in quite a while. Or is that a classic M6? BTW does an M6 Elmar set up fetch a better price with roses or jonquils.
