Well, I don't generally share my photos, so....

The other funny thing is that I have often used photography as a way to DISengage with other people. For example, I started doing wedding photography so I wouldn't have to socialize at weddings.

It's a lot about your personality. I'm reclusive and shy. I have never been one to blow my horn because I'm not sure I'm very good at it. But I think I have some talent at a few things.
So, if I get a compliment I quietly say thanks, but inside it's, uh,huh, I'm not bad. That's enough. I took pics before the 'net and I was happy then. I, like a lot of folks (surprisinly) have never subscribed to any of the cool talk sites.

Dirk, I think you were just in Prague recently; didn't you get any shots from there you can share with us?

We want to see what our fearless leader sees through the lens.

I will do a search and try to find some images without the kids on it. There was no time for real photography. This is why I only took the smartphone with me. It was a birthday present for my 80 year old mother in law.

IMHO photos are only interesting because there is a personal connection with the viewer - people, pets, places, activities or things that are special to you in some way.
I frame photos of my wife and son.

But I don't frame photos of other people, not even Barbie Margot Robbie in a tight black outfit...
