Birmingham with K7

Another good series well done. Today's winner of the five is #2, but #4 gets an honorable mention.

It is great if you like anything. Street photography can look so naff to people not really into it. Only the Street geeks that do it are really understanding of it perhaps.
Saw a guy with some sort of tiny mirrorless the other day that was an interesting guy to watch. Kind of weird but I guess I am too ;) . He must have been making small clips of video by the way he panned the camera around.
Just glad you like something.

Here are 5 from today that were shot afterwork this evening. All here again with the Pentax K7 and my lovely SAMYANG 135mm F2 that can do miracles to be honest. ALL PHOTOS MANUALLY FOCUSSED WITH THIS LENS. It is manual focus only for those not really knowledgeable on such things.
Really hope you like something. Sun was out a lot which helps enormously for lots of reasons.

Have a great weekend all visitors.

Best Wishes to you Dino26323

Another fine showing, Dino, and this time #4 takes the prize. I'm not a street afficianado, but I don't find them naff either. I just appreciate them for what they are and the skill required to get them. Manually focussing is the way to go... 100% of my lenses have no AF motor. Every time I think of upgrading my camera, I think of what I already have in an AF system and an AE system that are either not getting used at all or are barely getting used and I wonder what I was thinking. I'll still get a K-1III, though. Will you?

I will get a K1iii eventually. I am hoping the viewfinder is upgraded like they did with ApSc cameras but you can imagine the price would then be very steep so it is a choice of prices perhaps. They need to release black and white cameras in FF and Ricoh GR but they need to supply a filter set perhaps and therefore add to the novelty of ownership as well as improve the creativity of them.
I will get the next FF very likely. You sound like you are in a hurry. I am not too much in a hurry because 36 megapixels is already a lot for me.
The AF might be a lot better in a new K1 but again that is something that rarely ever is an issue for me. It is very very rare i need better AF whereas IBS IS A MASSIVE ADVANTAGE I HAVE ENJOYED FOR YRS by using Pentax Ricoh cameras.
Number one feature for a new K1 has to be an even better viewfinder BUT it will cost you when you come to buy one.

I'm not so much in a hurry for myself, but I'm in a hurry to see Pentax release something and succeed. I've become somewhat of a fanboy in the past few years for some reason. I have two K-1mII cameras, and both are in excellent shape, so I definitely don't need another camera. Just rooting for the home team, that's all.

I'm in no hurry for K1mark 3 new version just yet but you are right that perhaps other people are getting twitchy and feel like they want 45 Megapixels or 60 megapixels. I am getting one of the ApSc cameras soon I think but even then I would likely use lucky K7 in Birmingham. I just shot my K10 last weekend as a backup. I still shoot my K10. Yes crazy. Very crazy.

Here are 5 taken today. ( yesterday was just so bland grey dark cloudy and I just thought . . let's let it go. It feels like a fight when light has nothing of interest for me. . . It feels worse to work with than it really is I suppose )

Hope you like something from today. Sun popped out.

Helllo if you are checking this crazy thread.
Today I have pictures. Not great but I have something. The clouds were too frequent again but I shot some shots anyway.

Hope you like something. These are the best of a weak set so sorry about that ;)
