DPR To Stay?

I removed my DPRF referral from DPR after the Booted Cat message. We'll have to wait and see...

I seldom post to DPR now.

My God, do not get crazy now. Nobody is banning you. They first need to warn and inform you.

We have no proove that it is forbidden now. Bootedcat posted the screenshot of that message and that message was not from Dale (Dale is the admin)

I checked with the other dpreview moderators which are also here and none has information about a new policy regarding links in signatures.

If there would be a change, all moderators would know it. Reality is that there is no change at all.

Therefore we should stop this panic about a rumor immediately. No policy changed. Moderator Mako is again behaving strange. That's all. Relax.

I have two links in my DPR signature line, one pointing to DPRForum and the other to sister site L-Mount-Forum.com.

I am rarely posting over at DPR anyway but it will be interesting to see if anything happens as a result.

Nothing will happen, do not worry.

Has it happened (or am I just having browser issues)?

I can see the forum, but am not able to login anymore. Password recovery does not help. It accepts the new password, but still can not login afterwards. Password wrong :z04-head-wall:

So I guess they work in the background on the database somehow.

Reading recent replies, I've tried again, getting the same results using a Windows PC in the States, but if I modify my VPN settings, I can still login and make changes from New Zealand, for example.

The inevitable might be happening region by region. Who knows?

Meanwhile, I very much appreciate DPRFORUM having scrambled into existence with such a technically friendly interface.

I just checked the moderator's subforum at DPR. There are no new updates. Admin (Dale and Richard) have stated that when/if there is more to share, they will share it. They also stated that they don't know more than we do at this time.

It's up to you all here whether to hang on there or not.

I don't trust Booted Cat. There is a reason he is booted. I had to even ban him from my Facebook group for spreading misinformation.

Even now at DPR my signature points here. I figure it is fair, since they said they were closing down while they finish archiving and there is no news after that.
