Also, to be fair to DPR, the first closure was announced prematurely because something leaked. They HAD to make an official announcement so that rumors didn't take over.
This time, they're being tight-lipped; making sure nothing leaks. At least that's what I think if I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. ;-)

So, we have the confirmation now from 2 dpreview moderators that nothing changed in the policy regarding links in the signatures.
Therefore there is no need to worry about something. Just go ahead and add the link in your signatures
