I usually just type in camera, lens, and basic exposure info under the image, like so.

yes, I am afraid this is the only option we have, because Flick does not support showing the exifs data while hovering with the mouse over the image.

In celebration, let me try another time today to embed a Flickr photo with BBCode using my android cellphone. I went to Chrome app symbol, then to Flickr, then to the 3 vertical dots symbol at upper right for the drop down menu and chose 'desktop site' Then I found my flower to share, #485 clicked share and copied the BBCode to my cellphone clipboard then pasted it below. It's actually easier to do than the written description would indicate.
This time a Canon 5DS flower Canon 40mm f/2.8 STM pancake lens 1/500 f/11 ISO100 RAW processed in Canon DPP

In order to simplify life, I keep a Chrome browser tab open to the Flickr site. I'm always using Chrome anyway, and it really speeds things up when I want to post an image. Glad to have been of some help here.

I made a new manual with screenshots for Flickr. I therefore close this thread to avoid misunderstandings.

You find the manual in the FAQ for uploads here:
