Sony slows all 3rd party lenses to a maximum of 15fps while the Sony brand lenses are allowed to go much faster.Do you mean the third party lens for Canon R camera needs manual focus while the third party lens for Sony and Nikon does not need manual focus?
Until such time as a third party produces, if ever, an RF compatible lens, who not use third party EF and EF-S lenses with the EF/RF adapter ?Is there any third party lens fitting the Canon R camera directly?
I have just purchased an R10 with the adapter. I attached my Sigma 170-500mm f5.6-6.3 APO DG lens, purchased in 2006 for my 350D. Perfect focus, perfect exposure and the colours looked brilliant.
