Tasmanian Devil. This one is a healthy one introduced onto Maria Island off the east coast of Tasmania in attempt to safeguard the species which is being decimated by an unpleasant disease on mainland Tasmania. Normally nocturnal in Tasmania this one came running by in the middle of the day after I'd stayed up all night to see one near Cradle Mountain.

The white Wallabies are famous in that area but I confess I think the ordinary ones look better!
