1 Movement in November - Tasmanian Devil sf.jpg

Tasmanian Devil. This one is a healthy one introduced onto Maria Island off the east coast of Tasmania in attempt to safeguard the species which is being decimated by an unpleasant disease on mainland Tasmania. Normally nocturnal in Tasmania this one came running by in the middle of the day after I'd stayed up all night to see one near Cradle Mountain.

The first one is great!
Thanks and thanks for your work on the website. Your efforts are much appreciated.
The white Wallabies are famous in that area but I confess I think the ordinary ones look better!

Great shots!

I was hoping there'd be a devil photo! :devilish:

Great set. All great. It is refreshing to see the different animals not commonly seen here the US.
Thank you for sharing.
