New Project 52 for 2024

37/52: A friend called on Saturday and said "Hey, I'm in the neighborhood... with another friend." I said, "Come on over!" -- and they did. He drives an early 70's 246 Dino (for fun/hobby) and his friend had just bought a 1993 348 earlier in the day. So, they went out for a scenic drive together. Later in the evening, we were joined by another individual who has a 1966 330 GTC. They are all members of the local Ferrari club (old geezers like me). We had a cold beverage in the back yard, talked and laughed. When the time came to go home, they started-up all three cars simultaneously... and several neighbors came out to look and see what was happening... wondering what all the racket was about. LOL. Probably the last time I will ever see anything like this in my driveway!

NICE picture. You are traveling! Looks like a great place for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and taking-in a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. I checked the map... the railway station and the rail tunnels! Interesting. Have Fun.

Thank you John. The Cinque Terre are indeed very nice but many people know that and these five villages are small so they are quite crowded, even in September. The best ways to go there is by train and by boat.

Week 39: Two pictures for the price of one ;).

Where was the "greenhouse" photo taken? Your back yard? :) As I recall, previously, you posted a library picture - is this the same library? There's seemingly minimal distortion with both wide-angle lenses. That's nice. The lines at the top and bottom of the frames are very straight. There's usually some rotation required in post, but distortion is another matter. I try to level things up when editing. There's no need for any tilt... unless the tilt is actually there or you're trying to create an effect.
