2. This is a long story. The short answer is... "John-Erik" -- but since I was born in the USA, nobody could seem to "figure it out" (you know how little kids are... "What's your name again?") so instead of trying to explain it over and over, it just morphed into "John" for simplicity.
Great shot! I would hate to see that coming straight toward me unless I was taking a photo of it,
Thank you Joe. It was rather far, actually.Great shot! I would hate to see that coming straight toward me unless I was taking a photo of it,
Thank you John.Holy smokes! That's excellent. Super IQ, too.
Your heavily-cropped picture is one more proof of what a fantastic camera the D810 is. At its present price on the second-hand market, it has become an incredible bargain.32/52: I am still lacking material. Work has been busy and I have not had enough free time to get out and shoot for fun. Yesterday, I had a business meeting at the airport, so I took the camera with me (thinking about Eric's 600mm eagle). After the meeting, I stood in the parking lot for a few minutes... pointing the lens (80-400) at mechanical flying things. Not quite enough reach (I had to crop heavily) but I liked the bright blue color on this one.
