Today with your Pentax

Keep 'em coming. Good variety as always so we never know what you will post. Blue skies. I missed those today.

( I did not post today because light was dull flat with no sunshine so I came straight home,. Better to have some hope when you are in the city than none )

I have a special catch today that I thought I would post here on this thread for you. A rare capture indeed. A rare species. Here is a gentleman I spotted in my city today across the road.

Yes indeed he has a Pentax too. Using adobe super resolution I have a tighter crop for you to see his machine better. THUMBS UP WAS FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER Little did I know it was a Pentax. Enjoy this rare capture !!!

Hello Dino. I like the last one a lot too.
Any chance you could post a version in color?

HERE IN COLOUR . . The face of the girl is not much worse than the black and white. Boosted contrast on left to enhance it for colour version.

The K3 Monochrome is a fantastic camera but you have both the advantage and disadvantage that you cannot be asked to re process it in colour.

You likely put more effort into processing when you are lacking colour. Some pictures will gain and some will lose in my opinion or thoughts.
The K3 monochrome seems to be doing ok sales wise since nowhere ever has it in stock for long here in the UK at least. There are a lot of black and white shooters buying them so far.

Dino, thank you very much for showing a color version. Interesting to me. At the end of the day, I agree with your choice for B/W. I think it would take a lot of post processing to balance out the colors the way one would want, and maybe still not have that "monochrome" feeling. Again, thanks for granting my request. I appreciate.

Yes I put more effort into the colour version on the left hand side and yet still it has some issues. The main reason to do it black and white at the time was to keep the thread as a whole kind of uniform. I have made exceptions but it is rare. Most shots work both ways a lot to be honest where some people may prefer the colour.

Regards to you
