Birmingham with K7

I must say I like your (to my mind) aggressive b&w photography. A few images could should be culled. I did ‘street’ in London in the 60’s. Maybe limit yourself to 24 images each shoot, be selective and stay focused. It may be the Forum, but your images look a little underexpose.

Well glad you like something.
Many people including photographers hate street shots. I am fascinated always because of the variety of different ways/ things / lighting / reflections / subjects / multiple subjects . . . I could go on.
Whether they deserve merit is not really something that matters to me. I just have to try and shoot something on the streets because I am sure my best shot ever will be actually a street shot. That will be my opinion. It may not be yours.

Today I shot a lot of pictures stopped down a bit for a change. Results are hit and miss because I love Bokeh and so I am unsure about many of them.

My faves... Post 243, pic #1; Post 246 pic #3 (#1 & #2 also nice). I'm kind of a "landscape static shot f/11 deep DOF guy" -- so don't listen to me! :)

I do not listen to anyone giving me advice. How is it helpful unless they are better than you and know what they are talking about? I like my street shots but accept that many people hate them. That is ok. I accept it.

I too take landscapes or try to. Not easy at all to get really good or half decent landscapes that is for sure.

I guess I sound kind of over rating myself there saying I take no advice from anyone. What I mean is that they are never proven to be qualified from what I see of their pictures and that is if they have any pictures to show at all. Yes I may be wrong on that sometimes but it is what it is. I refuse to be put off by social media and trolls. I will get something eventually so long as I keep shooting. Not shooting any pictures is by far the most massive error of the lot.

No sweat. Keep shooting. That's a good thing! I will too. I'm not "social media" nor am I a troll. I was not offering any advice. I simply mentioned the shots that I liked from your recent outings (as I have done before on a couple of occasions in this thread). My remark about "landscape/f11/DOF" was a disparaging shot at ME (not you). Going forward, I'll just keep my thoughts to myself -- it's probably better that way.
