Apologies to Dirk. This is a one off break from the rules 5 shots. Tried to make a point to this guy complaining about too many bad photos. Basically, I cannot choose very easily.

I am Just glad you Like something Barbie.
Here are today's shots. Image 7301 that is the fourth image is for LEFT EYE. " Especially for you " even though I am not exactly Kylie fan but as I get old my music tastes do go to odd places a bit like my photos perhaps.

So D700 all week this week. Practiced with the AF and got a bit better with it than last Saturday or was it Friday when loads were off the mark ( Focus wise ).

Here are some from recent days that I want you to see . . Left EyE is right that I post too much but these are as good as anything I post and are different hopefully enough that you are interested. If not sorry and I will try and do better as always.

Soon the night photography will be harder and harder to shoot because skies are really bight at 6 pm these days. That is why I am eager to fit as many days in as possible before the night photography disappears for my time scales after work. It will end soon.

Today was a damp rubbish grey entrance into the city. Very light but grey skies. This really affected my motivation so I got a lot fewer decent shots than usual to choose from and actually only shot a fraction of shots that I did other days. I have 5 here which are not bad ( one is from yesterday actually ) but it was an eye opener. When light is poor with grey skies then I kind of struggle to be excited. It all looks way less interesting with bad light even if many of the photos will not be affected. My spirit is bored having to shoot in bad light. I was lucky last year in Spring there were many sunny evenings. When grey boring skies dominate then I might not even bother shooting.

Had I stayed longer then I would have felt a lot more interested since it was dark enough at 6.30 pm and light is at least interesting at night time streets shots.

Today was a lot more fruitful and I have many shots that I like but here are 5 with D700 and 105mm. I shot a lot of photos. A lot. Light was much better so brightened my spirit.

More today. Many shots taken. There will be very few opportunities for night shots soon when clocks go forward. Dark at 630 will be dark at 7 30 PM.
Nikon D700 and 105mm. Here are 5. I have many that I like today but none perhaps that are genuine real stand out shots. Hope to do better tomorrow.
