Today with your Pentax

Only one camera went out with me today, armed with the A50f2.8 Macro and the 1.4x-S converter which was sometimes on the camera, sometimes off. I came away with a few shots I think are decent.
Here's the best of the bunch.

June 10 2023. Cornfield in UV. Kolari Vision modified full spectrum Pentax K-1 with Asahi Optical Super Takumar 35mm. Hoya U-360 (2mm thick) and Schott S8612 (2mm thick) filter stack. ISO 6400, F4.5 @ 1/60. According to the Weather Channel this is a class 10 UV day. Even then, in full sunlight, it takes ISO 6400 for a decent aperture handheld. UV light accentuates haze.
Thanks,

I enjoy your series, and Dino's, of images you record.. I look forward to viewing these each day. In that spirit, I'll share a few that I've taken on walks I've made. I can't go out each day as I used to as my wife is ill. So I say... enjoy your shooting days, and in that spirit I'll share just a few of my walking "snapshots" as I'm able to shoot them.. I know these specific images aren't shot with Pentax gear, but I have plenty of Pentax gear and I'll continue using Pentax gear now and again.

Nice set. I particularly like your image of Kelley Park.

I'm kind of upset tonight. I found a fairly decent size scratch on the barrel of one of my lenses that I don't think was there earlier today, and I can't figure out how it got there. It's just cosmetic, but given how much I baby my stuff and how hard I try to keep everything nice, it really twists my noodle. I've ordered a paint pen that should cover the damage easily, but the mystery remains... how long has it been there and where did it come from?

Oh well... on with today's photos.

Great shots again Jason. Thank you. I did shoot some over the weekend but did not have time to post them.
Keep up the shooting.

Keep them coming.

That is bad news about the mark on your lens barrel. I would hate that too.

My K1 had a mark on the prism one time from rough journey in the backpack with the strap I believe making the scratch I believe. I was really annoyed. Fortunately the mark almost disappeared and is very very hard to see now. It may have gone completely but I do not trust that it has gone. I was sure the strap made the mark on the pentaprism but the paint stood firm in the end and it has gone really unless you look VERY VERY VERY hard.

Regards Dino26323 . . Hope your pen fills in the mark to make it less painful for you and I look forward to tomorrow's catch and Weather good for you.
