Today with your Pentax

We went to a craft store today. I took my camera. Here's a couple of shots. Posting a bit early because this place, which is already full, will be crawling with relatives in the next few hours. I'm guaranteed no peace for the rest of the day.

I have been out with another brand camera today ( well also a K7 with kit lens as backup ) trying to take bokeh shots.

I have tried to strip it of all the data so am posting it here. Kind of bending the rules but it is good to keep this going.
Bought this beast for peanuts. Well worn 160 , 000 shutter fired or something. Bokeh delight though. These taken today WITH ANOTHER BRAND OUCH !
ANTIQUE CAMERA 2009.

You can't post photos from other brand cameras here without saying what brand they are. So what brand is it? All are welcome here.

OK. Since it's your thread and we have permission, plus I like the "this is what I caught today" concept. I've got a little humor...

My wife is disabled and can only walk on very level ground, so we enjoy an outing now and again to a small residential park in Palo Alto which is centered around a nice reflection pond. It was a pleasant day so we drove down there and, well... now I have a chance for "after" photos once they fill it, if they fill it.... :)

Where's the water gone?

Nice images with the Nikon. If Pentax fails to produce a K-1 mIII, then my next camera will probably be a Z8. And of course I'll get a K mount adapter and keep using my ages old Pentax lenses.

It was a travel heavy day today, and I had to drive the whole time. I did manage to pull over to photograph these, which I think are quite a sight.

WHAT !!!!! you would change on whim like that.
I AM NEVER LEAVING PENTAX . . . NEVER. Too much is much better. EG DNG FILES. MASSIVELY BETTER ERGONOMICS. THE GREEN BUTTON IS A MASSIVE ADVANTAGE OVER CANON NIKON IN MANUAL MODE. MENUS MUCH BETTER BECAUSE I AM USED TO PENTAX. I HAVE USED MY K1 WEATHER PROOFING NOT BY CHOICE BUT BECAUSE THE HEAVENS OPENED UP. My canon 5Dii would have died that day. I was at a superb location and knew it was risky with the weather but it just

LASHED DOWN AND EVERYTHING WAS SOAKED. If you want to leave then go do it but it is crazy. I just hopped onto a D700 that cost me £130 . . bokeh magic lens 105mm F1.4. It is too complement my hunger for bokeh magic that is all. The camera is nowhere near the finesse of a PENTAX granted it is tough build but is a UGLY PIECE OF PLATIC AND METAL compared to any of my Pentaxes. Another camera completely over rated on forums at the time of release.
Have patience. There will be a K1 mark3 eventually but we do not know when.
Shots are great from this old D700 because of me pointing it in the right direction with skills all learned from Pentax cameras ;)

All my pictures were manually focussed with the D700 through a viewfinder. How can you possibly see the bokeh through a miniature tv screen inside a camera. THE WORLD IS CRAZY. crazy i tell you.

Here is my Nikon shutter that I checked out in case it was worse than they said. It is about right to what they said it was. and cost me£130. The great thing is that a 32GB compact flash card was included along with 3 batteries. The lens was a lot of money but I can trade it back and get the money back if I get bored of BOKEH SHOTS. ( not going to happen ).
